Assistant Store Manager (Full-time)
Location: Penha Maho, St Maarten

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet sales targets
  • Initiate and execute activities in-store that contribute to higher sales
  • Support with ensuring availability of merchandise by maintaining inventory and stock levels
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reporting any missing stock to management
  • Deal with customer service issues such as queries and complaints and determine optimal solutions.
  • Update staff on store targets, business performance, any new initiatives and other pertinent issues
  • Walk around the store floor regularly, talk to staff and identify or resolve any urgent issues
  • Ensure interior and exterior of store is maintained to Penha standards
  • Maintain staffing levels consistent with business needs to ensure excellent customer service
  • Oversee and record the delivery of merchandise, comparing records with merchandise ordered, and report any discrepancies in order to control costs
  • Support the Store Manager in ensuring the store sales targets are met

Job Requirements:

  • Work permit in St Maarten
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Professional attitude and ability to be flexible and deal with change

  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities and learn new procedures
