Julius L. Penha & Sons, Inc., founded early in the 19th century, is a 140 year old family firm. Its flagship store, a local definition for excellence, operates out of the renowned most photographed yellow building in the heart of downtown Willemstad o­n Curacao, Netherlands Antilles. The Penha building as historians, locals and tourists call it, was constructed in 1708 carrying a historical legacy through its Dutch architecture and strongly contributed to putting Curacao’ s capital o­n the UNESCO’s World
Heritage List .
