The Montblanc brand focuses on high-end luxury goods including pens, watches, jewellery, fragrances, leather goods and eyewear. Founded by the stationer Claus-Johannes Voss, the banker Alfred Nehemias and the engineer August Eberstein in 1908, the company began as the Simplo Filler Pen company producing up-market pens in the Schanzen district of Hamburg.
Their trademark is a white stylised six-pointed star with rounded edges, representative of the Mont Blanc snowcap from above.

In fall 2012, the collection was extended when Montblanc launched the women’s scent Montblanc Legend Pour Femme.

Montblanc Legend Pour Femme has top notes of of neroli, bitter orange and pear. With middle notes of white flowers: jasmine, lily of the valley and orange blossom. And base notes of musk, vanilla and fine woods.
